John Irvin
John Irvin joined Global Planning Group (GPG) as a Managing Director in 2017. He is a leading life insurance producer nationally and has been involved in the industry for 40+ years.
John currently serves as President of Rockwell Venture Capital.
In July, 2008 he served as President of PartnersFinancial, a leading national life insurance producer group owned by National Financial Partners. From 1993 to July 2008, he was CEO of Innovative Benefits Consulting, Inc., a life insurance consulting firm. From 1983 through 1993, John was a partner and co-founder of Mid Atlantic Capital Group and president of Mid-Atlantic Insurance Corporation, where he specialized in serving the financial planning, asset management and insurance needs of ultra-high net worth individuals. At the beginning of his career, John worked as a CPA with the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Company. He then formed his own accounting firm engaging in individual taxation, financial planning, estate planning and trust work.
John has been involved outside of the insurance industry, as well. John currently serves on the board of Mine Vision Systems, Inc (MVS), Ecoremedy, LLC. He also serves as Trustee of PartnersFinancial Foundation and S. Kent Rockwell Conservancy.
John formerly served on the Board of Directors for Argon ST, a NASDAQ-traded firm, and chaired its audit committee from 2001 until it was acquired by The Boeing Company in 2010. From 2012 to 2013, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The ExOne Company (XONE) and led the team in taking the company public on the NASDAQ in 2013. He also served on the Board of Directors for the ExOne Company from 2012 - 2021 when it was acquired.

Managing Director
Marco Fabio Gelpi
Mr. Marco Gelpi has more than 20 years of experience in the life insurance business. He began his career with Mutual of New York (MONY) in 1997. In 2000, MONY decided to open a Miami, Florida office dedicated to serving the Brazilian community and consequently Marco moved to Miami.
Marco holds a Series 6 and life insurance producers license in both Florida and New York. He was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). When AXA acquired MONY in 2004 and closed the Miami office, Marco joined ICS Global Inc., a broker in Aventura, Florida. After working there for one year, ICS Global opened an office in Brazil. As a result of that Marco moved back to Brazil where he continued to be a top producer for the company. In 2008, he expanded his area of expertise into wealth management by joining Consenso/UBS Gestão Patrimonial, the second largest family office in Brazil. In 2012, Marco started his own company, MFMG Financial Services. In 2018 Marco joined Global Planning Group, as Managing Director for Latin America.
